MW3 Custom Camo (Installation) Windows

To install custom camos you must first locate your Modern Warfare 3 folder. If you are using Steam and have it installed in its default location it will most likely have the following path:

C:\Program Files\Steam\steamapps\common\Call of Duty Modern Warfare 3

If you however have changed your path or are using a non-Steam version you will have to manually find your installation folder.

Once you have found it should look similar to this, as long as it contains main you're good to go.

Now navigate to main and then open iw_06 with Winrar or 7Zip. Inside iw_06 you should find 1 folder called image and inside that there should be loads of files with the extension .iwi
Path should be: \main\iw_06\images\

Now simply drop your custom camos inside the folder, make sure they have the extension .iwi and have filenames similar to this: weapon_camo_blue.iwi

That's it! You should now have your custom camos working just fine. Remember that if you update or reinstall your game you may lose your camos.
